The Ford Ranger has been the best-selling pickup in Europe for the past 10 years.

The Ford Ranger is the best-selling pickup in Europe for the tenth consecutive year. In Europe, 60,400 Rangers were purchased last year. This year, the Ford Ranger PHEV joins the Ranger model lineup with the highest torque of all production Rangers and an electric range of up to 43 km.

Ford Pro is revolutionizing the pickup world this year with an exciting new Ranger option for European customers: the all-new Ranger PHEV. This uncompromising electrified model delivers all the towing, payload, and off-road performance of a Ranger, along with a 43 km all-electric range and 697 Nm of torque—the highest of any production Ranger.

The Ranger PHEV also introduces Pro Power Onboard to the Ranger lineup, allowing customers to power 2.3 kW of equipment or adventure gear directly from the integrated battery, eliminating the need for a generator. Production of the Ranger PHEV has begun in Silverton, South Africa, with first deliveries expected this summer.

Hans Schep, General Manager of Ford Pro Europe

"The foundation of the Ranger's decade as the favorite pickup in Europe is a deep understanding of our customers and how they use their pickups. Our all-new Ranger PHEV uses electric power to take the pickup experience to the next level," said Hans Schep, General Manager of Ford Pro Europe. "The Ranger PHEV combines more torque than ever with the ability to power demanding tools and equipment, whether on a construction site or camping, and the ability to drive fully on electricity, which represents a huge step forward in pickup productivity."

The first deliveries of the next-generation Ranger began in 2023 after a development process during which Ford Pro worked with customers from around the world to design a pickup truck that owners can rely on for their work, family life, and adventures.
