Kia Corporation unveiled today the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 models during the Kia EV Day 2025 in Tarragona, Spain. These three new models represent a significant milestone in Kia's electrification strategy and demonstrate the brand's commitment to energizing the global electric vehicle market.
All three strengthen Kia's leadership in the world of electric vehicles. The Kia PV5, the first model dedicated to the Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy, illustrates Kia's rapid expansion into personalized mobility.
The Kia EV4, presented as a concept at the Kia EV Day 2023 in Seoul, is Kia's first all-electric sedan and hatchback.
The Kia Concept EV2 previews an electric SUV in the B segment, offering innovative features beyond the standards of its segment.
The Kia PV5, presented as a concept at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, is the first dedicated model of Kia's PBV strategy. Designed on a specific platform, it combines radical modularity and exceptional flexibility, thus revolutionizing the use of electric vehicles.
During the event, Kia presented its electric strategy and explained how it will contribute to accelerating the transformation of the global electric vehicle market.

The Kia EV Day 2025 is the second event of this kind organized by the brand. Spain was chosen due to its increasing importance in Kia's electrification strategy and the rapid development of the European electric vehicle market.
During the event, Kia showcased nine vehicles: the Concept EV2, four versions of the EV4 (two sedans and two hatchbacks), as well as four variants of the PV5: PV5 Cargo, PV5 Passenger, PV5 Wheelchair Access Vehicle (WAV), and PV5 Crew.
Kia also introduced its E-GMP.S platform (Electric-Global Modular Platform for Service), offering modular and customizable configurations tailored to customer needs.
The exhibition showcased Kia AddGear, which allows customers to customize their PBVs with a wide range of accessories. Kia also introduced a partnership with Samsung Electronics, demonstrating the integration of SmartThings Pro, an IoT system optimized for PBVs.
